Keamari Police Arrest Suspect Wanted in Motorcycle Robbery Case

Karachi (HRNW) – Police in Karachi’s Keamari District have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in a motorcycle robbery during a targeted operation carried out by Baldia Police Station based on intelligence information.

According to the Keamari Police spokesperson, the suspect, Tariq, son of Aziz, was identified through CCTV footage and arrested following an intelligence-led operation.

Police stated that an illegal pistol, allegedly used in criminal activities, was recovered from the suspect at the time of his arrest.

Investigators allege that the suspect, along with two accomplices, robbed a citizen identified as Abdul Rehman of his motorcycle in the Rasheedabad area last week. The incident was registered as FIR No. 175/2026 under Sections 397 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code at Baldia Police Station.

Police further stated that the two other alleged members of the group have also been identified, and raids are being conducted at various locations to apprehend them.

A separate case (FIR No. 178/2026) has also been registered against the arrested suspect under the Sindh Arms Act, and further investigation is underway.
