Karachi (HRNW) – An 18-year-old man, Muhammad Saeed, son of Abdul Hameed, has reportedly gone missing after leaving his home in Sector 16-B, Gabol Town, Federal B Area, for work. His family says he has not returned home, prompting a desperate search.
According to his relatives, Muhammad Saeed was employed at Royal Plastic House (Old Company) and left home for work as usual. When he failed to return by nightfall, the family began searching for him but was unable to trace his whereabouts.
The family alleges that when they approached Gabol Town Police Station to report his disappearance, officers refused to accept the complaint, advising them to contact the police station in the area where he worked. They further claim that officials at Sachal Police Station then directed them back to their local police station, leaving the family caught in a jurisdictional dispute.
Muhammad Saeed’s parents insist that their son has no criminal record and has never been involved in any unlawful activities.
The family has appealed to senior police authorities to immediately launch efforts to locate the missing youth and ensure that jurisdictional issues do not delay the registration and investigation of missing persons cases.
They also urged the authorities to improve the handling of public complaints, stating that respectful and timely assistance is essential to maintaining public trust in law enforcement and ensuring equal access to justice for all citizens.
