YEMEN (HRNW) Severe attacks launched by Yemen’s Houthi movement (Ansar Allah) targeting multiple cities across Saudi Arabia have left 73 people injured, including women and children.
According to the Saudi-led coalition forces, the Houthis targeted the Saudi cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Najran, and Jizan, where civilian and economic installations were struck. Coalition forces stated that a decisive and strong response will be given to these attacks by Ansar Allah.
Arab media reports indicate that fighting inside Yemen between government forces and the Houthis has also intensified significantly, with violent clashes concentrated in the provinces of Al-Bayda and Al-Jawf.
Meanwhile, Yemeni Deputy Defense Minister Major General Samir Al-Sabri announced a large-scale counter-offensive against the Houthis, stating that government forces have made a firm decision to reclaim control of Sanaa.
