Islamabad (HRNW)- The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has made an important announcement regarding the submission of income tax returns, stating that the formal filing of income tax returns for the Tax Year 2026 will begin on July 27.
According to the FBR spokesperson, all taxpayers have been directed to submit their tax returns correctly, completely, and honestly to help strengthen and improve the country’s tax system.
The spokesperson emphasized that all information provided in the tax return must be accurate and based on factual records. Every taxpayer should ensure that the details mentioned in the return are correct so that transparency and accuracy are maintained throughout the tax filing process.
The FBR further stated that timely and accurate submission of tax returns plays a vital role in establishing a strong and effective tax system. Taxpayers have been urged to file their returns within the prescribed timeline while ensuring that all submitted information is complete and accurate.
