Afghan Envoy Calls for Dialogue to Resolve Issues with Pakistan

Islamabad (HRNW)- Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Sardar Ahmad Shakib, has said that the Afghan government is committed to resolving all outstanding issues with Pakistan through dialogue and diplomatic engagement.

According to Afghan media, Sardar Ahmad Shakib, while speaking to Tolo News, said that the policy of the current Afghan government is to address bilateral differences with Pakistan through peaceful dialogue rather than confrontation.

The ambassador stated that tensions between Kabul and Islamabad have negatively affected both countries, with ordinary people on both sides bearing the greatest impact of strained relations.

Sardar Ahmad Shakib said the issues that have emerged are harmful to both nations, damage bilateral relations, and affect the daily lives of citizens. He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan believes dialogue is the best way to resolve disputes and improve relations.

Meanwhile, political analysts believe that maintaining diplomatic engagement and open channels of communication can help reduce tensions and create opportunities to strengthen political, economic, and trade cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
