Lahore (HRNW)- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has congratulated all institutions, including provincial ministers, members of the provincial assembly, district administrations, Punjab Police, law enforcement agencies and other departments for maintaining peace and order during Ashura across the province.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, the Chief Minister thanked Almighty Allah for the peaceful observance of Ashura and the successful resolution of all matters, writing, “Congratulations to Team Punjab.”
Maryam Nawaz said that, like last year, Muharram-ul-Haram was observed this year in a peaceful, dignified and well-organized manner. She extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire Punjab team for ensuring the smooth conduct of Muharram processions and religious gatherings throughout the province.
She also appreciated the dedication of provincial ministers, members of the Punjab Assembly, district administrations, Punjab Police, law enforcement agencies, Rescue 1122, Health Department, local government staff and other institutions, saying they worked tirelessly day and night to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.
