Trump Says New Iran Agreement Will Block Nuclear Weapons Ambitions and Boost Regional Stability

Paris (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump has said that the newly negotiated agreement with Iran will serve as a strong and effective barrier against any potential Iranian nuclear weapons capability and will contribute to peace and stability in the Middle East.

Speaking to reporters during a meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates in Paris, Trump said that the proposed agreement could be submitted to the US Congress for review. However, he expressed confidence that the deal would play a significant role in promoting regional security and reducing tensions.

The US president criticized the nuclear agreement reached during former President Barack Obama’s administration, describing it as dangerous for the Middle East and arguing that it could have allowed Iran to eventually develop nuclear weapons capabilities.

Trump stated that Iran is seeking to end current tensions and restore normal trade and economic relations as quickly as possible. He added that the full details of the agreement would be made public within the next few days.

According to Trump, the agreement will also facilitate the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz from Friday, allowing unrestricted maritime traffic through one of the world’s most important energy corridors. He claimed that no tolls or additional fees would be imposed on vessels using the strategic waterway.

The US president said the primary objectives of the agreement are to promote peace in the region, secure global energy supplies, and ensure that Iran’s nuclear activities remain limited to peaceful purposes.

Political analysts believe that if the agreement is successfully implemented, it could contribute to a reduction in regional tensions while also having positive effects on global oil markets, energy security, and international trade.
