LONDON (HRNW) – The United Kingdom has granted the United States permission to use its military bases for defensive operations against Iran, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirmed in a statement.
Starmer said the United States had formally requested permission to use British military bases, and the request has been approved.
He stated that the decision was made to help prevent Iran from launching missiles in the region, to protect innocent lives, to safeguard British citizens, and to shield countries that are not involved in the ongoing conflict from becoming targets.
