Federal Banking Ombudsman Resolves Over 16,000 Complaints, Provides Rs 882 Million Relief in First Half of 2025

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Federal Banking Ombudsman provided relief of more than Rs 882 million to consumers during the first half of the year – From January to June, more than 16,000 complaints were resolved and a relief of Rs 882.25 million was provided – Last year, more than 12,000 complaints were resolved and a relief of Rs 681 million was provided –

This year, 15,084 complaints were resolved, while formal orders were issued after hearing 922 complaints – 16,915 complaints were received from January 1 to June 30, 2025 – including 3482 complaints from the Prime Minister Portal – Consumers should not disclose their personal and financial information to any unrelated person – Immediately contact the nearest bank branch or helpline on suspicious calls –
