Toronto, Canada (HRNW) — Human rights defenders, community activists, scholars, and civil society delegates will assemble in Toronto, Canada, from September 23–26, 2026, for the 4th Africa-Canada International Convention on Human Rights Promotion (ACI-Convention 2026).
Hosted by the African Centre for Refugees in Ontario, the four-day international convention serves as a strategic bridge between African and Canadian human rights advocates. Key discussions and training sessions will focus on formulating practical legal protections, improving healthcare access, advancing 2SLGBTIQ+ rights, and strengthening socio-economic partnerships to combat systemic discrimination and violence.
Procedure to Apply

Online Registration: Applicants, delegates, and grassroots leaders must register through the official ACI-Convention portal.

Visa Support Request: Following successful registration, international participants requiring entry into Canada can request an official invitation letter to assist with Canadian visa processing.
