Quetta (HRNW) — A special campaign against criminal elements is underway across Balochistan’s nine police ranges and 33 districts on the directives of Balochistan Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir.
According to police, 16 kidnapped persons, including an 11-year-old girl, were safely recovered during operations over the past three weeks. Police also reported the arrest of 44 proclaimed offenders, 249 absconders and 492 other suspects.
Police said the operations also resulted in the recovery of weapons, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, more than 81 kilograms of narcotics, three stolen vehicles, 44 motorcycles and 13 mobile phones.
According to police, operations against criminal elements will continue without interruption to maintain law and order and improve public safety across the province.
