Islamabad (HRNW) — Pakistan has, for the first time in its history, appointed an ambassador to Armenia.
Pakistan’s current Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Ambassador Shafqat, has presented his diplomatic credentials to the President of Armenia.
Following the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Armenia last year, Ambassador Shafqat has been appointed as Pakistan’s first non-resident ambassador to Armenia.
The development marks a significant milestone in bilateral relations and is expected to strengthen diplomatic engagement and open new avenues for cooperation between the two countries.
