Peshawar (HRNW) — The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has passed a resolution seeking action against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz under Article 6 of the Constitution, alleging serious acts of high treason.
The resolution called for legal proceedings against Maryam Nawaz over allegations concerning the integrity and unity of Pakistan.
Assembly member Meena Khan alleged that Maryam Nawaz wanted to break up Pakistan and demanded that she be removed from office and that criminal cases be registered against her.
