78th Death Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah Observed Today

Karachi (HRNW) — The 78th death anniversary of the Founder of Pakistan and Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is being observed across the country today with profound respect and reverence.

The nation is remembering the great leader for his extraordinary political vision, principled leadership and tireless struggle that led to the creation of an independent homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent. The day is marked by both mourning and a renewed commitment to the ideals on which Pakistan was founded.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born in Karachi on December 25, 1876. Through his political wisdom, determination and constitutional struggle, he transformed the demand for a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent into a political reality.

Despite suffering from serious illness, Quaid-e-Azam continued to work tirelessly following the establishment of Pakistan. Karachi was selected as the country’s first capital, and he played a central role in guiding the newly established state during its formative period.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah passed away on September 11, 1948, at the age of 71, only 13 months after the creation of Pakistan.

His guiding principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline continue to hold significance for Pakistan. The anniversary serves as a reminder that building a strong, stable and dignified country requires adherence to the rule of law, national unity, hard work and respect for the rights of all citizens.
