Israeli Military Claims Destruction of Hezbollah Underground Network in Southern Lebanon

Nabatieh (HRNW)- The Israeli military has released video footage showing what it described as the destruction of Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure beneath the Ali al-Tahir ridge in southern Lebanon following a massive explosion.

According to the Israeli military, the underground network extended for more than two kilometers and included command centers, weapons storage facilities and living quarters.

The explosion was powerful enough to be recorded as a seismic event measuring 4.1 by the US Geological Survey. Local media reported that the blast and resulting tremors were felt in surrounding areas.

Footage from the vicinity showed a massive explosion followed by a large plume of smoke rising over the mountainous terrain.

The claims regarding the underground network and its destruction were made by the Israeli military. There has been no immediate official response from Hezbollah regarding the reported incident.
