Sanaa (HRNW) — A spokesperson for Yemen’s Houthi movement has launched a fierce verbal attack on the United States and Saudi Arabia, claiming that the “paper tiger” United States is approaching its end and that those hiding behind American power are increasingly being exposed.
The Houthi spokesperson also sharply criticized the Saudi leadership, alleging that the Saudi rulers are “puppets” of the United States and accusing Saudi Arabia of abandoning its responsibilities toward oppressed Muslims.
On the issue of Palestine and Jerusalem, the spokesperson said that Yemen had repeatedly called on the Arab world to participate in the defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem. The spokesperson claimed that the invitation remains open and asserted that their movement would continue fighting against Israel.
The spokesperson further accused Saudi Arabia of having “the blood of oppressed Muslims on its hands” and alleged that the Saudi leadership had forgotten its religious and moral responsibilities.
Expressing confidence in the Houthi movement’s cause, the spokesperson said they were advancing with the help of God and claimed that God had promised victory to those fighting for their cause.
The statements come amid continuing regional tensions and the ongoing conflict involving Israel, Palestine and Yemen. The allegations and political claims made by the Houthi spokesperson could not independently be verified and should be understood in the context of the broader regional conflict.
