Tel Aviv (HRNW)- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party is trailing the Yashar party by one seat in the latest opinion poll ahead of Israel’s upcoming parliamentary elections.
According to a survey broadcast by Israeli public broadcaster Kan, Yashar, led by former Israeli military chief Gadi Eisenkot, is projected to win 24 seats in parliament, while Netanyahu’s Likud is expected to secure 23 seats.
The poll comes just over two months before Israel’s next parliamentary elections and marks a notable development in the country’s political landscape.
However, the one-seat difference between the two parties remains narrow, leaving room for further changes in voter preferences and the political balance during the election campaign.
