Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW) – The World Health Organization (WHO) is marking World Hepatitis Day 2026 with a renewed call to remove barriers preventing people from accessing hepatitis prevention, testing and treatment. WHO is holding a high-level commemoration today under the theme of accelerating hepatitis elimination, as countries seek to meet the 2030 targets for reducing deaths and new infections.
