Supreme Court Orders Transfer of All NAB Cases to Constitutional Court

Islamabad (HRNW) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued an important decision regarding cases related to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), ordering that all pending NAB cases be transferred to the Constitutional Court.

In its ruling, the Supreme Court observed that under Article 175 of the Constitution and the NAB law, the Supreme Court does not have jurisdiction to hear NAB cases.

The court stated that matters related to NAB proceedings fall within the jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court, and therefore all relevant cases should be shifted accordingly.

Following the decision, future hearings and proceedings of NAB-related cases will proceed under the jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court.
