Karachi (HRNW) – Police in Karachi’s District East have arrested a woman allegedly involved in a motorcycle theft ring during an intelligence-based operation carried out by Soldier Bazaar Police Station.
According to the East Police spokesperson, the suspect, Sehar Bibi, wife of Kashif Khan, was identified and arrested with the assistance of CCTV footage.
Police allege that the woman, along with her husband, has been involved in multiple motorcycle theft incidents. Investigators claim that CCTV footage shows the couple allegedly taking away stolen motorcycles.
During the operation, police recovered a Super Star 70 motorcycle bearing registration number KQX-2361, which is believed to be linked to the case.
A criminal case has been registered against the arrested suspect and her absconding husband. Police said efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining suspect, while further investigation continues.
