Wrong Address in FIR of ‘Drug Queen’ Arrest Sparks Anxiety Among Karachi Residents

KARACHI (HRNW) – A fresh controversy has emerged in Karachi after police allegedly recorded the wrong address in the FIR related to the arrest of alleged drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky, causing distress among residents of Bilal Arcade in Garden West.

According to details, the FIR stated that the accused was arrested from a flat located in Bilal Arcade Phase II, Garden West. However, it later emerged that an unrelated family has been residing in the same flat on rent for the past eight years.

The affected family stated that they have no connection whatsoever with Anmol alias Pinky and said the incorrect mention of their address in the FIR has caused them severe mental stress and reputational damage.

Meanwhile, the union representative of Bilal Arcade and the flat owner, Saleem, visited the Garden Police Station to protest against the incident.

According to the union official, police officials acknowledged the mistake and apologized for recording the incorrect address in the FIR.
