Bangkok (HRNW)- Torrential rainfall in Bangkok has caused flooding at the airport, leading to an unusual delay of Thai Airways flight TG-341 bound for Karachi.
The flight has remained grounded in Bangkok and has been delayed by approximately eight hours, according to the information available.
The delay has also disrupted travel plans for passengers at Karachi Airport who were relying on the incoming flight to make connecting journeys. Several passengers reportedly missed their onward flights to Malaysia as a result of the disruption.
Passengers scheduled to travel from Karachi to Bangkok on the return flight TG-342 were originally expected to depart at 7:00 AM, but the flight had not been able to operate due to the continuing disruption.
The heavy rains and flooding have caused difficulties for air travelers and airport operations in Bangkok, with passengers facing extended waiting times and changes to their travel schedules.
