Tehran (HRNW)- The Iranian Ministry of Health has announced that 8 hospitals in Tehran have been evacuated following the recent attacks by the American and Zionist enemies.
According to the Ministry of Health, 54 emergency centers, 46 medical centers and 216 health centers were damaged in the attacks, while 41 ambulances were also affected. The highest number of deaths was recorded in Tehran and Hormozgan provinces.
The injured include 4,721 women, 1,917 children under the age of 18 and 68 children under the age of two. So far, 32,533 people have completed treatment and 480 patients are hospitalized. 1,200 injured have undergone surgery.
117 medical staff and emergency team members were injured and 24 frontline health workers were martyred. In addition, 251 women, 216 children (under the age of 18) and 17 children (under the age of 5) were also martyred.
These attacks have caused a severe crisis for the health system and human lives.
