Geneva (HRNW)– The meeting between the US and Ukrainian delegations in Geneva has been described as very productive.
According to media reports, a White House spokesperson said both delegations agreed to ensure Ukraine’s sovereignty in any peace agreement with Russia.
The spokesperson added that negotiators highlighted a shared commitment to achieving a just and lasting peace and have developed a new and improved peace framework.

He further stated that any future agreement will fully maintain Ukraine’s sovereignty, and Ukraine and the US agreed to continue working more intensively on joint proposals in the coming days.
Meanwhile, US Senator Marco Rubio emphasized that the final agreement must be approved by the presidents, noting that a few issues remain unresolved before involving the Kremlin.
