ISLAMABAD (HRNW): FIA Immigration officials have arrested three women upon their arrival in Pakistan following their deportation from Saudi Arabia. The arrests were made during routine immigration clearance after the individuals were flagged for suspicious behavior.
According to FIA Immigration, the women confessed during initial questioning to being involved in prostitution while abroad. The investigation revealed that the women had been trafficked under false pretenses; one woman was sent to Saudi Arabia by an agent named Shaheen under the guise of employment, while the others were sent by an agent named Rashid.
The suspects had previously been arrested by Saudi authorities and were deported to Pakistan after serving their respective sentences. To ensure thorough legal proceedings, the FIA has transferred the arrested women to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi for further investigation into the networks involved.
