Riyadh (HRNW)- Two people were killed and more than 12 injured when a projectile struck a residential building in the southern area of Riyadh, according to the Civil Defense Agency and media reports.
The casualties include citizens from India and Bangladesh, while the origin of the projectile remains uncertain, though Iran has been carrying out missile and drone attacks on Gulf countries in recent weeks.
The projectile landed in Al-Kharj, home to a major air base, which has been targeted multiple times during the Israel-Iran conflict over the past week. Authorities continue to investigate the incident and assess the damage.
