Abu Dhabi (HRNW)- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced it is taking measures in self-defense following what it described as Iran’s brutal and unprovoked attacks, which have killed and injured civilians and violated international law.
According to a statement by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iran has carried out more than 1,400 drone attacks, resulting in civilian casualties. The ministry emphasized that while the UAE does not seek conflict, it reserves the right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and national security under international law and the UN Charter.
The UAE Ministry of Interior reported that the country’s air defense system is actively countering missile threats, and citizens have been urged to stay safe and follow official warnings and updates on the ministry’s website.
