Beirut (HRNW) — Human Rights Watch has said that an Israeli military attack in Lebanon on April 22, 2026, which killed one journalist and severely injured another, included apparently deliberate attacks on civilians and civilian objects.
The organization said the available evidence raises serious concerns that the attack may constitute a war crime and called for accountability and an independent investigation.
