Islamabad (HRNW)- An important prediction has come out regarding the start of Ramadan in Pakistan. Secretary General Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, Khalid Ijaz Mufti has announced the possible dates of the first Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha.
According to Khalid Ijaz Mufti, the Ramadan moon is likely to be sighted on February 18, in view of which there is a strong possibility of the first Ramadan falling on February 19.
He said that the Shawwal moon is likely to be sighted on March 20, after which Eid-ul-Fitr can be celebrated on March 21.
Making a prediction regarding Eid-ul-Adha, Khalid Ijaz Mufti said that the first Dhul-Hijjah is likely to fall on May 17, and accordingly Eid-ul-Adha can be celebrated on May 27.
