Karachi (HRNW)- The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has paid tribute to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for foiling a major terrorist attack in Karachi.
A statement issued by MQM Pakistan said that the safety of innocent citizens of Karachi could be ensured due to the timely and effective action of the law enforcement agencies, for which all relevant agencies including CTD deserve congratulations.
The statement said that MQM Pakistan stands by the law enforcement agencies in the ongoing war against terrorism and will continue to provide all possible support for the peace of the city.
MQM Pakistan further said that law enforcement agencies, patriotic political parties and the public will unite and defeat the intentions of terrorists.
The statement demanded that actions be further intensified against those who mislead the youth and attack innocent, defenseless citizens in the name of religion or nationality so that lasting peace can be established in the city and the country.
