Rights Groups Condemn Use of Surveillance Technology Against Activists

Berlin (HRNW) – International digital rights organizations have condemned the growing use of surveillance technologies against journalists and human rights defenders.

Reports indicate that spyware and digital monitoring tools are increasingly being deployed to silence dissent. NGOs have called for stronger international regulation and accountability mechanisms to prevent abuse of surveillance technologies.
