Beijing (HRNW) — China has sent two giant pandas to the United States following a recent meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The two pandas have been transported to a zoo in Atlanta, Georgia, where they are expected to remain for the next 10 years.
The arrival of the pandas is being viewed in the context of cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and the United States. China has historically used panda exchanges and loans as part of its international wildlife conservation and diplomatic engagement.
