Kyiv, Ukraine (HRNW) – United Nations human rights monitors have reported that July 2026 recorded the highest monthly number of civilians killed and injured in Ukraine since March 2022. The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission said the continuing violence is causing serious harm to civilians and civilian infrastructure, highlighting the urgent need for stronger protection of civilians and compliance with international humanitarian law.
