Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW) – The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the number of new cancer cases worldwide is projected to nearly double by 2050 unless countries strengthen prevention, early detection, and treatment programmes. WHO said cancer already claims more than 26,000 lives every day and urged governments to expand access to screening, vaccination, diagnosis, and quality healthcare services.
