Islamabad (HRNW)- Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai, in which detailed discussions were held on the overall political situation of the country and parliamentary affairs. During the meeting held at the Parliament House, Islamabad, the two leaders discussed the ongoing political tension in the country and consulted on various aspects of increasing mutual cooperation between the opposition parties.
According to sources, the meeting also discussed parliamentary strategy, future political steps and a joint opposition strategy. The two leaders agreed that in the current political situation, communication and cooperation between the opposition parties should be further strengthened.
The meeting is being described as an important development regarding the possible joint strategy of the opposition in the country’s politics.
