Trump Says Iran Ceasefire Still Holds, Warns of Further Action If Peace Deal Not Reached

Washington (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump, speaking from Washington, has stated that the ceasefire with Iran remains in place despite reports of recent clashes and attacks between the two countries.

In his statement, Trump said that US forces carried out defensive actions in response to alleged Iranian attacks and targeted Iranian military facilities. He claimed that the strikes were successful and caused significant damage to Iran’s missile centers, command facilities, and other military infrastructure.

He further warned Iran that if a peace agreement is signed soon, further escalation and violence could be avoided in the future. Trump emphasized that the United States seeks stability in the region, but made it clear that attacks on US forces and interests would not be tolerated.
