Major Change in Hajj Policy, Age Restriction Relaxed

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (HRNW) —Saudi Arabia has revised its Hajj policy, rolling back the previous age restriction and issuing updated guidelines for pilgrims.

According to details, the 15-year age restriction has been withdrawn, and children aged 12 years and above are now once again eligible to perform Hajj.

Under the revised policy, earlier restrictions on younger pilgrims have been lifted, allowing applicants aged 12 and above to qualify for Hajj registration.

Sources further stated that visas previously rejected under the 15-year restriction will be reprocessed following the policy reversal.

Officials said the decision aims to ease Hajj arrangements and provide broader access to eligible pilgrims.
