Allegations of Increased Crackdown and Rights Violations in Indian-Occupied Kashmir After Pahalgam Incident

Srinagar (HRNW) – Reports from Indian-occupied Kashmir allege that minority communities, particularly Muslims, are facing increased pressure and restrictions, which critics describe as a worsening phase in the region’s ongoing unrest. According to details, following the Pahalgam incident, authorities under the Modi-led government are accused by political and local leaders of intensifying actions in the region.

It is alleged that security measures and arrests have increased, with reports claiming that around 2,000 Kashmiris have been detained. Local leaders have raised concerns over the situation, questioning the legality of recent actions and expressing concern about rising tensions.
