Tehran (HRNW)- A senior Iranian official has confirmed that Pakistan has received a proposal for an immediate ceasefire, which is being seriously considered.
According to the British news agency Reuters, the senior Iranian official said that Iran has formally received Pakistan’s offer for a ceasefire and the proposal is being examined from various angles.
The Iranian official said that in the context of the current situation in the region, all diplomatic options are being considered, while the ceasefire proposal presented by Pakistan is also being viewed in the same context.
According to sources, further progress or a formal response in this regard is likely to come in the coming days.
