Lahore (HRNW)- Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch held telephone conversations with Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai and former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser to discuss the current political and security situation in Pakistan and the region.
During the discussions, Liaquat Baloch stated that the entire nation stands united for the security and safety of Pakistan, emphasizing that the national leadership must play a vital role in resolving the country’s ongoing political crises.
He described the current situation in Balochistan as worrisome, stressing that the province’s issues should be addressed through national consensus and dialogue. Liaquat Baloch also said that the Taliban leadership in Afghanistan should act according to the aspirations of the people and work to improve relations with Pakistan and Iran.
He further remarked that the United States and Israel are facing defeat on the Iranian front for the third time, highlighting the shifting dynamics in regional politics.
Liaquat Baloch also announced that the Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan leadership will organize jirga programs in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi in order to develop a comprehensive strategy for resolving the problems of Balochistan.
