Kim Jong-un Re-Elected as General Secretary at Workers’ Party Congress in Pyongyang

Pyongyang (HRNW) – The National Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea has re-elected Kim Jong-un as General Secretary after five years, reaffirming his leadership over the country.

According to international media reports, thousands of party officials, senior government representatives, and military leaders attended the congress held in Pyongyang. Kim Jong-un was unanimously re-elected, once again consolidating his position as the supreme leader of North Korea.

Participants expressed full confidence in his leadership and endorsed the party’s policies and national direction for the upcoming term. The military leadership also reiterated its unwavering loyalty, while delegates pledged to continue the country’s political, defense, and economic strategies under Kim’s guidance.

Meanwhile, Xi Jinping extended congratulations on Kim Jong-un’s re-election. In his message, the Chinese President stated that China is ready to work closely with North Korea to strengthen traditional ties and elevate bilateral relations to new heights.
