Islamabad (HRNW)- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to discuss the regional situation and matters of mutual interest, according to media reports.
The two sides held detailed discussions on key regional developments and exchanged views on issues affecting both neighboring countries.
Iran’s state news agency confirmed that the conversation took place while Araghchi was in China on an official visit. During the call, the two officials emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and coordination.
The discussion also covered the situation along the Pakistan-Iran border and joint efforts to promote lasting peace and stability in the region.
The contact comes amid heightened regional tensions and is being viewed by diplomatic and military circles as an important step toward strengthening coordination between Pakistan and Iran on regional security matters.
