Sana’a (HRNW)- Yemen’s Saudi-backed government says at least 150 civilians have been killed since September 3 amid escalating tensions and violence across the country.
Officials said a large number of civilians have been affected by military operations in several areas, while many others have sustained injuries. The government expressed concern that continued violence is worsening the already difficult conditions faced by ordinary Yemenis.
Authorities warned that the security situation in affected areas remains tense and that the death toll could rise further as violence continues.
The Yemeni government has called on the international community to take effective measures to protect civilians and intensify diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the ongoing tensions and violence.
