Peshawar (HRNW)- Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has convened a meeting of its Central General Council to deliberate on the issue of administrative units and the creation of new provinces in Pakistan.
According to JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghouri, party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has summoned the Central General Council meeting in Peshawar on September 19 and 20.
The meeting will discuss the ongoing debate over new administrative units and provinces, with the party expected to determine its position on the issue.
The development comes amid renewed political discussion over the creation of additional provinces and changes to the country’s administrative structure.
