Lahore (HRNW)– Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, stated that the ongoing campaign against the army and national security institutions aims to weaken Pakistan both economically and politically.

Speaking to the media, he emphasized that the army belongs to all Pakistanis and should remain free from political interference. He also addressed propaganda against military leadership and urged politicians to focus on political battles while keeping security agencies out of politics.
Ashrafi highlighted the need for national unity in tackling Afghan terrorism and economic challenges, and announced plans to start Nizam Khilafah Rashidah conferences across the country.
