Rome, Italy (HRNW) – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has welcomed a US$30 million contribution from the Republic of Korea to launch the second phase of its REACH humanitarian programme. The funding is intended to strengthen assistance for vulnerable communities affected by hunger and humanitarian emergencies. WFP said the contribution will help expand its ability to respond to urgent food and nutrition needs.
