London, United Kingdom (HRNW) – The UK Government has opened the Modern Slavery Fund Viet Nam Programme 2026–2029, inviting eligible NGOs, civil society organizations, research institutions and other qualified organizations to submit proposals addressing human trafficking, exploitation, prevention and protection in Vietnam and among Vietnamese communities in the United Kingdom. The programme has an indicative total value of approximately £2.97 million and will run through March 2029.

- Human trafficking prevention
- Protection and support for trafficking victims
- Prevention of labour, sexual and criminal exploitation
- Safer migration and livelihood opportunities
- Strengthening anti-trafficking institutions
- Identification and referral of Vietnamese trafficking victims in the UK
The programme includes three Vietnam-focused outcome areas covering prevention, identification and protection, and institutional strengthening, together with a UK-facing stream.

£2.97 million
The funding is intended to support programme activities through 31 March 2029.
📋 Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants may include:
- Registered NGOs
- Civil society organizations
- Research institutions
- UK-based nonprofit organizations
- Organizations based in low- and middle-income countries
Applicants must be legally registered and capable of managing UK Government grant funding transparently. Organizations must also have appropriate safeguarding policies and meet the programme’s compliance requirements.
For the Vietnam-facing stream, a single lead organization must submit the application and may manage a small consortium where additional expertise is required.
