General Syed Aamer Raza Assumes Command of National Strategic Command, Meets Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir

Rawalpindi (HRNW) – General Syed Aamer Raza has assumed the position of Commander National Strategic Command, where he was presented with a Guard of Honour upon taking charge.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Syed Aamer Raza visited the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid a floral wreath, and offered Fateha for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defence of the country.

The ISPR further stated that the newly appointed Commander National Strategic Command visited General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi, where he met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

During the meeting, matters related to defence affairs, national security, and professional responsibilities were discussed.

The National Strategic Command is a key institution responsible for overseeing important strategic capabilities and related national defence responsibilities.
