Karachi (HRNW) – The District Administration South has intensified efforts to prevent illegal construction activities in Karachi and has directed authorities to take action against violations of building regulations.
According to details, the Deputy Commissioner South has sent a letter to the Director of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), instructing the authority to conduct an immediate and detailed inspection of 32 under-construction buildings located in District South.
The buildings identified for inspection are situated in areas including M.A. Jinnah Road, Arambagh, Garden, Lyari, and Civil Lines.
The district administration has directed that the approved building plans, construction permissions, and compliance with building by-laws must be thoroughly verified for all the identified projects.
Officials stated that if any violation, unauthorized construction, or deviation from approved plans is found, strict legal action will be taken against those responsible.
The administration further emphasized that action against illegal constructions will continue to ensure public safety, protect citizens’ rights, and improve compliance with construction laws in the city.
