Sahiwal (HRNW) – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad Zone, Sahiwal Composite Circle has taken action against human smuggling and arrested a suspect accused of defrauding a citizen by promising a Dubai work visa without a valid license.
According to FIA officials, the suspect Naseer Ahmed was arrested in connection with FIR No. 49/2026 registered by the Sahiwal Composite Circle.
The accused allegedly collected Rs. 400,000 from a citizen by falsely promising to arrange a Dubai work visa despite not holding an Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP) license. However, the accused allegedly failed to provide the promised visa after receiving the payment.
FIA stated that the case was registered under Sections 17/22 of the Immigration Ordinance 1979 on the basis of inquiry E-1492/25.
Further investigation against the arrested suspect is underway, while authorities are also investigating the involvement of other individuals linked to illegal overseas employment networks and human smuggling activities.
FIA officials have advised citizens to use only legal and registered channels for overseas employment and visa services to avoid becoming victims of fraud and exploitation.
